We wanted to give all of our boarders an opportunity to be able to access news, updates and changes to the calendar collectively. We know it's difficult to keep up with the ever changing lesson schedule, upcoming events, travel to shows etc. It is obvious the benefits of sharing this information with all of you however, since Sport Horse is also our home we ask everyone's discretion in keeping this information confidential. We consider ourselves very lucky that we've not been victims of theft or worse crimes during our time here and with the couple of recent incidents in the immediate area we are reminded that no one is immune to these acts! We hope to keep up on all barn news here and would appreciate any feedback in regard to it's usefulness.
So the latest Fecal Egg Count results came in the beginning of October ranging from 0 to 3,500 eggs per gram of feces. As usual the results did not reflect a low/high shedding pattern based on the groups being turned out. Dr. Herrmann administered an Ivermectin product and will follow up with the high shedders in 60 days. Yay for the worming program :)
