We wanted to give all of our boarders an opportunity to be able to access news, updates and changes to the calendar collectively. We know it's difficult to keep up with the ever changing lesson schedule, upcoming events, travel to shows etc. It is obvious the benefits of sharing this information with all of you however, since Sport Horse is also our home we ask everyone's discretion in keeping this information confidential. We consider ourselves very lucky that we've not been victims of theft or worse crimes during our time here and with the couple of recent incidents in the immediate area we are reminded that no one is immune to these acts! We hope to keep up on all barn news here and would appreciate any feedback in regard to it's usefulness.

Spring 2021 Wellness Day...

March 16, 2021/ Sport Horse Inc.

In anticipation of the WEC show of April 7-11 and the news of the latest EHV-1 worldwide outbreak, McDavitt Equine is scheduled for spring vaccinations March 24th at 09:00.

ALL HORSES WILL RECEIVE A FLU/RHINO VACCINE, EEV, EHV, Tetanus, Potomac Horse Fever, West Nile, Rabies, ANNUAL STRANGLES VACCINE AND A FECAL WORM COUNT. And while we realize worms are not contagious, they are passed between horses through sharing pastures .

If you have any intentions of traveling to shows or clinics be aware that most venues now require not only a current negative coggins (check yours for expiration) but a minimum of flu/rhino vaccine proof. Plan accordingly to save yourself a special trip fee!
